I really like this yarn. It is pretty. It is soft and easy to work with this yarn. My only problem is with the center. It is impossible to find the center without getting a whole glob of yarn to get to the start.

A while back I purchased this cotton yarn in the same colors to make some Christmas hot pads. They came out beautiful so I was excited to see this pattern for pot holders made with the same yarn. I immediately made one pot holder the same day I received the kit and it turned out great. I will be working on the other two in the set before Christmas. These pot holders along with the hot pads I already made will make a great addition to Christmas dinner this year. Thank you, Mary Maxim, for another great kit.

I started making coasters for this yarn on November 11.
I haven't started this yet, but it is my goal to do so once I finish the one I am working on now.
I am doing this a little slower so that I can not make a mistake on this one.

This afghan was extremely easy to crochet ... almost like a large Granny Square. I normally like patterns that are a bit more of a challenge, but I'm very happy with this pattern and I've received many compliments on it. As it turned out, this was one of my favorites after it was finished. I had leftover yarn so I extended the border quite a bit and added a variety of stitches to the border to make the afghan larger.
