Experience the joy of knitting your very own Aran Yoke cardigan using this pattern. With its top-down design and beautiful raglan sleeves, you'll be proud to wear your creation. The original yarn used was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, providing approximately 240 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit your style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. We recommend Mary Maxim Starlette, our best-selling worsted. Needle size is dependent on the garment size you wish to knit. These sizes require specific needles: size 32 - needles 5 (3.75 mm) and 10.5(6.5 mm); size 36 - needles 6 (4 mm) and 11 (8 mm); size 40 - needles 7 (4.5 mm), and 13 (9 mm). Fits sizes 32-36-40—Intermediate knit.
