Whip up this adorable bag, just right for hauling your knitting projects or groceries, with our handy downloadable pattern! It’s the perfect little surprise for a friend or a fun treat for yourself. Created for the Mary Maxim Knit Club and made with cozy Red Heart Super Soft worsted-weight yarn, which provided 515 yards from every 10 oz skein. Discover our amazing selection of worsted yarns, to make this truly your own! Keep in mind yardage will vary. We recommend Red Heart SuperSaver with 364 yds per 7 oz skein. Materials List: Teal (2 balls), needles size 7 (4.50 mm). Finished size:12" x 12" square. Assembled 8" (20.5 cm) wide x 12" (30.5 cm) tall (excluding strap)—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase, decrease, repeat, knit into front and back of stitch.

This yarn is absolutely gorgeous, and once I got a handle on the gauge, it’s gonna be just fine. I totally ran out of yarn. The Pat pattern called for 5.0 mm and I ended up having to use 3.5 to get the gauge correct. It’s going to be beautiful when it’s done though!

The first time I tried this yarn, I was disappointed. It didn’t come out neatly, it was hard to get the colors to change at the right points. Then I saw a tutorial on it, and now I love it. It is fun. I don’t know that I will make a large project with it, but conquering the color changes was a dopamine hit.
